IP Mail

KPN International IP Mail Service is designed to help you communicate more effectively. It is a powerful and vital business tool that has the flexibility to transmit a wide variety of data in virtually any format. Based on Internet technology and implemented on a widely accessible central platform, it offers users unlimited reach through interconnections with gateways to the Internet, the X.400 community, AS2, Fax and SMS networks. Secure and centrally located mailboxes are created via KPN International's Directory.

IP Mail EDI

The KPN International IPMail EDI/X.400 service provides the ability for customers with a Mail server on the internet to exchange EDi messages with the X.400 community.

The service will function as a real PRMD on X.400 and will be perceived by X.400 relations as a normal PRMD. It is available for both organizations that have their own private mail systems and organizations that want to use the infonet managed email service (IPMail).

Maximum security is ensured by using one single network connection between your private computer system and the fully protected 400Net service and the redundant configuration of the IPMail EDI/X.400 service is in place to deliver the high availability as offered in the service levels.

SMTP Relay

The SMTP Relay Service gives multinationals a highly available, centrally managed secure Messaging solution that greatly reduces the time and costs associated with implementing, operating and maintaining an email service. With KPN International's SMTP Relay Services, enterprises can safely and reliably exchange email with office employees, remotely located employees, business partners, suppliers and customers, without sacrificing additional resources and costs.

IP SMS

The Sms service provides you with the ability to send sms messages using your existing email technology. The service works with any email program and is as easy to use as sending an email.

The service utilises the power of the Internet to enable clients to send sms messages any time and anywhere in the world using standard email client software. The IP Sms requires no additional hardware within your existing email infrastructure, no upfront investment and requires no changes to your current workspace.

X.400

The 400Net service is a computer message handling service for creating, sending, storing and retrieving (EDI) messages.

Messages can be text, program output, or even a program itself. With the 400Net service, users communicate by sending their messages (documents, mail, reports, files, etc.) to the 400Net network, which, in turn, forwards them directly to one or several receivers or stores them until the receiver collects them.

The 400Net service is based on the universally accepted ITU (CCITT) X.400 1984 and 1988 standard, ensuring connectivity to all other X.400 systems and services through the 400Net ADMD node in the public X.400 infrastructure.

The service is available for both organizations with their own private mail systems (PRMD's) and those without private mail systems.

AS2

We now also offer a gateway for the AS2 service.

This service allows the secure transfer of EDI messages over HTTP/HTTPS and is used by many businesses; in fact, many businesses only support AS2 for EDI. Our gateway allows you to access the AS2 service quickly and with a minimum of difficulty so that you can concentrate on your business. We will soon be extending our AS2 gateway to also exchange messages with X.400 and/or SMTP. If you would like this functionality now, just let us know.
